Ånstadblåheia was sold to Fortum late last year through the acquisition of Ånstadblåheia Vindkraft AS. This happens as the Finnish company gears up to build a large wind power portfolio in the Nordics over the coming years.

The construction of the 50 MW project is conducted by Nordkraft, in accordance with the agreement which was presented with the announcement that Fortum had bought the Nordkraft Vind portfolio on November 8th last year. In addition to the Ånstadblåheia project, Fortum bought the operational Nygårdsfjellet, as well as the Sørfjord concession, in addition to Ånsdadblåheia.

The project is projected to cost 400-500 mill NOK (45-56 mill EUR), giving an annual production in the region of 150 GWh. For those who want to see the plant in the building phase, Nordkraft has announced that tours of the area will be arranged during the construction period.
