Nexans delivery to Fosen
With the influx of new wind power plant to be built in Norway over the next few years, many contracts will be signed. Our friends at Nexans have announced that they will be delivering cable infrastructure to Roan.
The Roan project, consisting of 71 turbines, and due to be erected by 2018, is the second largest of the six projects which together constitute the 1000 MW Fosen project. From April, Nexans will start delivering the approximately 200 km of cables needed to connect the turbines together, and to connect the wind power plant to the grid. Linka AS is responsible for installing the electrical infrastructure on Roan, and Johs J. Syltern AS is the responsible entrepreneur.
In the future, there’s not pipelines but the power grid which will deliver the energy to the industry and transport. We are happy that it is our friends at Nexans who are to deliver those cables at Roan.
